Big Mountain Adventure is located on the Chowrastra Mall in Darjeeling, India, to the right of the Oxford Book and Stationary Co. Its entrance is just to the left of Tibet Arts and leads to the comfortable office space behind the Tibet Arts store. It was founded by Raaj Waiba, who previously had a trekking and tea business in Katmandu for many years, and has now returned to his native land to offer high quality personalized adventure trips based in Darjeeling and exploring Sikkim, Ladakh, Bhutan, & Nepal. Guided tours of Darjeeling and the surrounding area are also available, including the Himalayan Mountain Railway World Heritage Site, the Zoo and Mountaineering Institute, tea plantations, cultural and educational sites, the Ghum Buddhist Monastery, and many other attractions.
