Bhai Gurdas Institute of Education (BGIE), Sangrur is one of the prestigious institutions of Punjab offering a 2 year full time Bachelor of Education. It is established in the year 2015 to provide training in education and to develop desirable attitude among student teachers. It is duly recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Govt. of India, approved by Govt. of Punjab. It is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and follows its norms, course structure and rules. It is run by Bhai Gurdas Technical Educational Trust (Regd.) which is a non-government organization working towards empowering both rural & urban communities by increasing their access to education. It is a co-educational institute. The institute provides an ideal atmosphere for the development of teaching personality and communication skills.
