Dr.Vikram Gaikwad joined CARC Pune after completing his high school in 1998. He passed his Ayurvedacharya degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) with First Class from Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences Nashik (MUHS) .
During the period of his academic years, he got an opportunity to learn from renowned Vaidya (Ayurved Doctor) who are a well known physician and professor of Ayurved. He learned the methods of diagnosis (clinical practice), Panchakarma and process of manufacturing Ayurvedic Medicines under their guidance. Also he learned Ayurved from renowned Ayurved Doctor in Pune who have tradition of four generations ,follow the tradition of Guru-Shishya Paramapara (i.e.Traditional method of learning in India ).Pune being Core place for Ayurved where he learned & practices now.

He is also associated and has a rapport with folk practitioner in tribal area of Bhimashankar in Pune.He had a conversation with various such folk practitioner to know their method of diagnosis and use of herbal medicine for the treatment of patient.
