Formation and Objectives of AMA:
It is important for entrepreneurs to innovate and think out of the box to grow in the competitive market of today.
In a bid to nurture entrepreneurial ecosystem, a small group of Intellectuals from Industrial and Entrepreneurial fraternity of Amravati, laid the foundation stone of Amravati Management Association inspired mainly from VMA (Vidharbha Management Association), Nagpur, to proactively reach out to the sources of knowledge worldwide and provide a forum for sharing, learning and enhancing management competencies in the changing global environment.
The Sole objective of AMA has been to bring together budding local people with keen interest and insatiable thirst for growth on a knowledge sharing platform for mutual benefit and nurturing entrepreneur skills within each individual thereby unleashing their energy for inclusive growth.
On the lines of VMA, AMA is conceived to be a learning organisation, an Independent non-profit making entity, which focuses on providing a wide range of services aimed at enhancing managerial effectiveness in a broad sphere of activities with a common desire to improve the standards of Business Management. This is achieved primarily through organising relevant training programmes / lectures, arranging discussion, meetings where experiences are shared, arranging specific skill development workshops and subject specific conferences.
