A Face Book group found on 30th November 2011 by Jaison Jacob and his friend Saju Sam, aimed to share nostalgic, authentic and traditional recipes, Ammachiyude Adukkala is today 5 Lakhs in strength. As Ammachi is an unforgettable and inevitable term that reminds and elicits ripples of unconditional love and care in our minds, the group is bringing us variety of delicacies that can never elude the authentic flavors and tastes. The activities of this group which has earned enormous popularity in a short period of time, are led by Jaison and Saju with the strong support of other team member on the admin panel – Indu Jaison, Asha Saju, Anu Thomas, Nijo Jose, Anoop Baby John who helps the progress of the group in strict discipline and unity. Diaz Xavier, a young IT Talent, is all time active with the group contributing in mobile applications, and website updating and support, data backup and uploads.

30 നവംബർ, 2011-ല്‍ ജയ്‌സൺ ജേക്കബും സുഹൃത്ത് സജു സാമും ചേർന്നു രൂപം കൊടുത്ത ഫേസ് ബുക് ഗ്രൂപ്പിന് ഇന്ന് മൂന്നു ലക്ഷത്തോളം അംഗങ്ങള്‍. അമ്മച്ചി എന്ന വാക്ക് നമ്മിലുയർത്തുന്ന സ്നേഹസങ്കൽപ്പം ഒരിക്കലും വിസ്മരിക്കാനാവാത്തതു പോലെ എക്കാലവും ഓർമ്മകളുണർത്തുന്ന രുചികരമായ ഭക്ഷണ വൈവിധ്യങ്ങളായി നമ്മെ തേടിയെത്തുന്ന ഈ മികച്ച ഗ്രൂപ്പിലേക്ക് ഏവർക്കും സ്വാഗതം. കുറഞ്ഞ കാലയളവിനുള്ളിൽ ഏറെ പ്രചാരം നേടിയ അമ്മച്ചിയുടെ അടുക്കളയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി അഡ്മിന്‍ പാനലില്‍ നിജോ ജോസ്, അനൂപ്‌ ബേബി ജോണ്‍ , ജോര്ജ്ജ് വർഗ്ഗീസ്‌ , അനു തോമസ്‌ , ഇന്ദു ജെയ്സണ്‍ , ആശാ സജു എന്നിവർ ഈ ഗ്രൂപ്പിനെ വളരെ അടുക്കും ചിട്ടയോടും കൂടി നയിക്കുന്നു . ഗ്രൂപ്പ്‌ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ചും വെബ്‌സൈറ്റും മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണ്‍ ആപ്പ്ളിക്കേഷനും നിയന്ത്രിച്ചും ഡയസ് സേവിയറും നിറ സാന്നിധ്യമായി ഒപ്പമുണ്ട്.
തുടക്കത്തിൽ ഒരു കുടുംബ കൂട്ടായ്മയായി തുടങ്ങിയതാണെങ്കിലും‍ ഒരു മാസം കൊണ്ട് 20000 ഇൽ അധികം അംഗങ്ങളുമായി മുന്നേറിയ ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ വളർച്ച അതിശയകരമായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് മൂന്ന്‍ ലക്ഷം അംഗങ്ങളുമായി ഫേസ് ബുക്കിലെ മികച്ച മലയാളം ഗ്രൂപ്പ് എന്ന ബഹുമതിയുമായി ഗ്രൂപ്പ് യാത്ര തുടരുന്നു……. രുചിയുടെ വഴിയിലൂടെ.. അമ്മച്ചി എന്നുള്ളത് ഒരു സങ്കല്പം മാത്രമായിരിക്കെ, ഈ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് എല്ലാവരും ഒരുപോലെ ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്നത് ഒരുപക്ഷെ അമ്മച്ചിയുടെ അടുക്കള എന്ന നാമധേയം തന്നെയാകും .. ഗൃഹാതുരതയോടെ മാത്രം നമ്മൾ ഉരുവിടുന്ന ആ നാമം.. അമ്മച്ചി!!!
