Ali-Allana College of Pharmacy Akkalkuwa

Every student is responsible to the college and should take utmost care of the college premises and property. Any damage done to the property of the college is to be compensated either individually or collectively. Any damage to the College building, furniture and fixture by the students shall be treated as breach of discipline.
Students should be regular and punctual. Appropriate action will be taken against late comers.
Students will not be allowed to skip any lecture of the day. They are not supposed to loiter in the College corridors or play in the Gymkhana when the lectures / practicals are in progress. Smoking and use of tobacco in any form are strictly prohibited in the college premises.
Cell phones are not allowed in the college campus.
No student is allowed to indulge in any political activity or in any activities detrimental to the interest of the college.
No programs, meetings, gatherings or picnic will be conducted without the written approval of the Principal.
Attendance
Attendance at all lectures / tutorials / tests / examination / seminars is compulsory.
A student who is not regular in attendance or fails to carry out his work to the satisfaction of the Principal is liable for cancellation of his / her term.
The students who do not have the minimum required attendance of 85% of actual lecture periods conducted, or who do not show satisfactory progress will not be allowed to appear for final examinations.
Examinations
Periodic tests / seminars conducted in each semester are compulsory.
In case a student remains absent for the periodic tests no re-examination will be conducted.
No improvement test will be conducted.
Leave and absence
Student remaining absent is required to submit a leave application immediately duly countersigned by the parent / guardian. The parent / guardian of the students are kept informed about the attendance and performance of the student. The co- operation of the parent / guardian in correcting the drawbacks of his / her ward is imperative.
