Alankar Theatre Group was instituted by Mr Chakresh Kumar, an alumnus of The Department of Indian Theatre and brings together people who have a flair for creativity and an immense passion for theatre. From dedicated 7 year olds to highly energetic 70 year olds Alankar Theatre is a coterie of artistic, avid and assiduous people who want to renew theatre in India and take it to new heights.

Alankar Theatre strives to bring new concepts and formats in taking the message to its audiences in a refreshing and enchanting way. Driven by the fundamental principle of Kaizen each Alankar-ite is an enthusiastic contributor towards our focal goal of bringing out quality, invigorating & meaningful work for our audiences, thereby renewing theatre and stepping up the offering with each performance.
