Mission Statement and Company Policy

1. SCOPE

Narbada Dairy Foods & Farms Pvt. Ltd., hereinafter referred to as “The Company” with its head office in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, produces “Premium” Quality milk and milk products at its Dairy farm District Durg, Chhattisgarh.

The Company has in-house expertise to manage a large and modern Dairy Unit, with a herd of high yielding milk cattle producing one of the finest quality of Raw Milk, and further expansion to other dairy products is in the offing.

3. OUR MISSION

We are committed in our purpose and values to provide Milk and Milk Products of the Highest Quality by being distinctly more efficient, effective and trustworthy to our clients.

At the same time, we believe in the maxim of “Happy Cows produce better milk”, and we maintain the highest degree of Healthcare, Comfort, Nutrition and Hygiene for our Dairy Cattle at our farm, with a well-trained and committed staff whose welfare is also one of our prime concerns.

We strictly adhere to our Health, Safety, and Environment policy and contribute positively towards the industry and environment to make our planet a safer, healthier and better place to live in.

We appreciate the concern for production of Organic Milk and will endeavor to eliminate the use of Chemicals and Pesticides in the Feed & Fodder used at our farm, and achieve the goal of producing wholesome Organic Milk.

5. COMPANY POLICY

The Company shall conduct its business in a socially, environmentally and economically responsible manner which fosters safe and ethical behaviour towards our assets and our customers, such that environment, process and property are not jeopardised at any time.

All Dairy Staff and Management and the Sales and Marketing divisions shall carry out their duties in an ethical and honest manner ensuring that they exhibit the highest standards of integrity and righteousness at all times.

The Company shall provide high quality Dairy Products to its customers in terms of Health, Nutrition and Environment protection, both at the Dairy farm and our Processing Plant and all related operations, while continually improving these.

To achieve sustainable business growth while meeting or exceeding the mandatory requirements and best working practices of the industry.

The Company will:
• Provide a safe and healthy workplace environment for our Dairy Cattle and our Staff, at the Dairy Farm and Processing Plant.
• Work towards a cleaner environment.
• Provide adequate human resources for the welfare of the cows and efficient working of the Processing Unit.
• Provide Standard Operating Procedures for the Dairy Farm and the Processing Unit.
• Provide proper and timely supplies of medicines, healthcare services, unadulterated cattle feed and fodder, clean water supply, stores and spares the dairy and the plant & machinery, for the effective implementation of our core values.
• Provide adequate financial resources.
• Provide a secure working environment, by establishing and maintaining the required security measures to prevent unlawful acts against the property, assets, employees and the environment.
• Comply with applicable Rules, Regulations and Laws mandated by the Government of India and the State, and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards.

Every staff member is to be fit at all times to perform their normal and emergency duties, unhampered by the effects of drugs or alcohol.

The Company has an ‘Open Door’ Policy. Any employee or sub contractor is free to meet with or contact the Managing Director and/or the senior management in order to discuss without any hesitation issues related to Health, Safety and Environment protection.

The Company is committed to continual improvement.

The Company is committed to its goal of “Best Quality Milk Products conforming to the highest standards globally”.

5.1. APPLICABILITY

The Company Policy applies to all employees and personnel, including sub contractors providing service on behalf of the Company and agents attached to the Company.

The Company Policy is to be displayed in each office and work-place at the Farm and is also available on the Company’s website.

5.2. REVIEW

The Company Policy shall be reviewed at least annually for continuing suitability and necessary changes shall be made.
