Background:

Today Colleges are producing Engineering graduates without domain specific skill-set which is need of today’s advanced IT industry that is why Most of IT companies (Excluding mass recruitment companies) are reluctant to hire these fresher. IT Sector today is experiencing Graduates with “below average skill set” and not really useful to start contributing from day one. It is not practical for all IT companies to hire unskilled IT fresher, train them and move them on board.

What we are doing:

As some of you know that we are trying to bridge skill-set gap between “fresher out from colleges“ AND “the need of IT companies” [ bridging the gap between education to corporate ]. Hence, we have setup an IT training named 7 pillars software solutions in Belgaum (first time in India), We are basically providing training in Linux Domain such as Network programming , system programming , cyber forensic and protocol engineering in development and testing vertical. Such niche domain has huge requirements in the market, but there are few expertise in such niche domain in the market who has real time experience of these domains hence access to this knowledge base to students, which is badly affecting students placements as well as growth of IT industry. Hence it is urgent and alarming to pick a task where students/graduates should be groomed into this. 1. The syllabus which is taught in 7 pillars is practically very difficult to be taught in any other training centres, as it needs IT people who are already working in IT sectors and are aware of latest technology trends.

2. We are training fresher/students on Domain Expertise.

3. Every course is associated with a Live-IT Big industry project (within the same course domain), which will be most likely uploaded on open source. Student’s contribution for this project will be mentioned in resume, which makes resume more technically dens into a particular domain.

4. Students are given proper guidance and development guidelines as per Software engineering methodology and IT standards.

5. And at the end of the course the student will no longer be fresher without skill-set, rather they will be domain experts, and IT companies will be awaiting for you to join.

Fresher are the best candidates to be hired, because they are committed, hard working, serious, willing to learn, and don’t jump frequently across the company and more important low cost, but the disadvantage is Fresher are not skilled and can’t contribute from the day one. This disadvantage can’t be ruled out and it overtakes are advantages , hence we prepare students on domain of companies interest and they are already expert in the work of companies do , so it becomes very easy to hire fresher who are expert at the cost of fresher.
