pinakini satygraha Asram started by Mahatma Gandhi in 07-04-1921, with trust members of sri Dighumurti Hanumantha rao, Dighumurti Krishna bai, Chathurvadhula venkata krishna,kondiparthi punnaiah, in the part of Gandhi's philosophy was the principle of 'swadeshi', which, in effect, means local self-sufficiency in independence movement. Gandhi's vision of a free India was not a nation-state but a confederation of self-governing, self-reliant, self-employed people living in village communities, deriving their right livelihood from the products of their homesteads. Maximum economic and political power - including the power to decide what could be imported into or exported from the village - would remain in the hands of the village assemblies.
in 1925 Rusthum ji building was constructed by contribution of Indian national congress (Rs 10,000), Rusthum ji (Rs 10,000), Munagala raja(Rs 2000), and ponaka kanakamma (13 Akara's of land).
Mahatma Gandhi visited again Pinakini satygraha Aasram in 1929.
