Straight from the state where land is wedded to the sea, and life’s a breeze, is The Fisherman’s Wharf, which brings the simple pleasures of fresh seafood and more to landlocked Bangaloreans.
The menu is an ode to the jewels of the sea, cooked with zest typical of the Goan kitchen. There’s King Prawn Recheado, the spicy Prawn Balchao, Pomfret in butter garlic sauce, and the classic Goan Fish Curry with Rice. Guests can get acquainted with the complex nuances of Xacuti, or dig into Chicken Cafreal.
For those who don’t count seafood as a favourite, there’s more that the Wharf serves. There are Chinese favourites and Indian signatures, so you could team a Sichuan Fried Rice with Chicken Tikka if you wish. Continental options like steaks, pastas and more make an appearance on the menu as well.
The bar serves an impressive range of drinks to wash the treats down with. There are Margaritas, wine, and of course, any Goan experience would be incomplete without chilled beer.
